Tim Charles Hansen, of Port Aransas, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 19, 2024, in Corpus Christi, TX at the age of 66. Tim was born in Abilene, TX on 9/13/57. During his childhood, Tim moved across the country with his family multiple times, wherever Ray's lifelong career at Exxon took them. He graduated from Harding Academy in Memphis, TN and attended Abilene Christian University. In the last few years, Tim had relocated to Port Aransas where he was happy living the island lifestyle. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Nancy Hansen and Ray Hansen, of College Station, TX. Tim is survived by his 5 children: Shannon Hansen McCoy (Thomas) of Houston, TX, Shane Hansen (Alyssa) of Liberty Hill, TX, Maxx Hansen, Ava Hansen and Olivia Hansen of Port Aransas, TX. Tim has two grandchildren, Harley Hansen and Hadleigh McCoy, and a third on the way. He is also survived by his identical twin brother, Ted Hansen, of Austin, TX, his sister Kathy Askins (Lee) of College Station, TX and his cousin David Waters (Chickasha, OK) who Tim considered a brother. In addition, he leaves behind nephews, nieces, numerous cousins, and many friends also mourning his loss. His sense of humor, infectious laugh and smile will be missed.
