Sharon Denise Davis Simmons
Born to Henry and Lizzie M Davis on June 15,1961 at home in CC, Tx. Sharon was the first Baby of St John First Baptist Church and accepted Christ at a young age. While growing up in the Hillcrest Neighborhood she attended Crossley Elementary. And later attended Driscoll Jr high. In 1979 she became a Roy Miller High School High stepper and graduated that same year.
After Graduation she started working for Bethune Day Nursery and found her Life’s Passion. She Enrolled at Del Mar College to develop her career. She met and Dated John Simmons III, and he became the love of her life.
In March of 1984 they were Married and Soon after left home to Experience Military life as a couple. After 9 years of traveling the US and Abroad they came home to stay as a Civilian Couple.
Sharon Re Enrolled at Del Mar College and obtained an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development in 2002.
She continued her passion and was hired at Bethune Day Nursery again and worked there for several years. With more teaching experience she then Accepted a position with “Kids in the Neighborhood “ A government Childcare program. She worked there for 17 years until health issues forced her to retire.
Sharon Enjoyed Shopping , Fine Dining, and Traveling. Her Husband loved spoiling her. She loved each and every child in every class she had. And Bossing her Beloved Family around was a passion she was great at! We will Forever Love and Miss her.
She leaves to Mourn her Death her Dad Henry Davis, Sister Jacqueline Davis Sanders, Nephews Dewayne Green, IraLee Sanders III, Dariyan Green, Nieces Keyontae Brown, Dewonya Green. Cousins Dwight Hall, Linda Monroe. And Many Family members and Friends through Love and Law.
She is preceded in Death by her Husband John Simmons III, Sister Kasendra Green, Beloved Mother Lizzie M Davis, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles that are all remembered and Truly Missed!
