Rubi Campos suddenly passed away on May 8th, 2024. She was born to Maria De Jesus and Roberto Campos on October 18th, 1973 in Crystal City Tx. Rubi grew up in Crystal City were she attended school and was a good student she excelled in several sports such as volleyball and track. She loved track, she was the fastest on her team earning many first place ribbons. She got married while in high school and did not complete her education at that time. Rubi then went on to have her own family whom she loved dearly. After her divorce she found her way to corpus Christi tx. and that's where she went on to obtain her G.E.D. She also attempted to get her nursing degree at del mar college. but failed to complete it. Rubi came to realize she needed to be a part of a church family and she joined St. Matthews Missionary Baptist church where she became a member under the pastoral care of Rev. Pastor Arthur L. Lane ( ). Rubi loved attending Sunday school and being a part of the women's ministries. Rubi worked with LC Foundation in 2006 to 2007 under the supervision of Linda Gilmore.  she then attended Del Mar in 2007 to 2009.  Rubi then came to work as a secretary in  February of 2009 at unity chapel funeral home with her sister in law. Rubi then went on to work at Garden Estates as a lead server where she met so many wonderful people. Though her time there was short. She found her way back to the unity chapel funeral home and shortly after that she passed away. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, baby campos, brother Robert Campos and sister Sonia, Nephew Augustine and  Niece Angelica Armadillo and her two aunts Lupe, and Anna Diaz. Rubi leaves cherishing her memory her two sons Frankie and Tayshawn and four daughters Ashley Ruiz (Joseph ) Thalia, Tosy, and Meischa Ann, her two siblings Adrian A. and Crystal L. Diaz, six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
