Lover Lee (Sneed) Hill departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Corpus Christi, Texas. As many would call her, Lovie was born on October 30, 1940, to the late Albert and Cella Sneed in Austin, Texas. She was a high school graduate of Solomon Coles High School class of 1959. After graduation, Lovie resided in Austin, TX, where she received a cosmetology certification, as this became her career for 28 years. She married William R. Hill in 1959, and from this union, two children were born Jeffery Leon Hill and Crystal Shay (Kitchen) Hill.

Lovie adored spending time with her family, talking on the phone to her family and dear friends, and by far her favorite thing to do was eat vanilla ice cream with her one and only grandson, who she nicknamed Bubba Dubba. She had an infectious laugh and smile that matched her sweet and thoughtful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffery, and siblings Howard "Jack" Sneed, Alice "Toppie" (Sneed), White, and Eldridge Sneed.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Crystal (James) Kitchen, grandson James Clifford Kitchen IV, and brother Herbert "Gene" Sneed. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
