Kevin Scott Anderson

September 24, 1962 - August 20,2025

Kevin Scott Anderson left this world to join his family in heaven. He was born in Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas to Donald & Judith Anderson. Kevin lived in several Texas cities until High School. He graduated from Rockport High School in 1981. He married Diane Krayecki and worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico until he went to college for 2 years. In 1987 Kevin joined the Navy and was sent to Persian Gulf. After the Navy he taught sailing at the Boy Scouts High Adventure Sea Base in the Florida Keys until the base was destroyed by hurricane Andrew. Kevin's love for sailing led him to his next job on Frances Langford's yacht. He sailed to many countries and water ways including the Panama Canal and met many of Frances's guests including Bob Hope. Kevin also worked on Tug Boats before moving to North Carolina. He spent 10 years there as owner/manager of a gift shop in the Smokey Mountains. In 2005 Kevin moved to Corpus Christi bringing his inventory and opened Candy Corner Plus Gifts in Sunrise Mall until it closed. Then he went to the Corpus Christi Trade Center. Kevin retired August of 2024.

Kevin leaves behind his mother, Judy Bourg and step-father Jim Bourg, sister, Kristin Anderson Watson, son, Sean Anderson, grandson, Anthony Anderson, granddaughter, Shante Anderson, and great-granddaughter, Adora.

Also leaves nephews, Kyle Huett and Kameron Watson and niece, Katy Watson plus great-nieces, Kaisley Moore and Kinley Detore. Aunts, Cindy Fletcher and Kim Dolleslager. Cousins, Emily Flecher and Danny Fletcher, Stacey Chamberlin and Lindsay Ledbetter.

Directions to Memorial Service For Kevin Anderson Memorial Service will be Saturday September 13, 2025 at 2:00pm 3401 Santa Fe Corpus Christi.

The entrance to Safe Harbor Fellowship is at the back of First Christian Church on Sinclair St. A sign is on the back of the building that says Safe Harbor Fellowship.

There is a long ramp that leads you to the entrance. Safe Harbor is the first door at the left. A reception with lunch will be service.
