God has called home one of His angels, Gloria Nell King, age 77 on November 26, 2021, of Corpus Christi, Texas she was born to Doris Young and Brady Baldwin in Marlin, Texas on March 16, 1944. She moved to Corpus Christi at a young age attending West Oso School District where she graduated from. Gloria started working for CCISD transportation giving them 25 years until her retirement. At an early age, she met and married Edward Eugene king.  She was a great mother having four kids Darrell, Sheila, Donnie, and Jamie. She enjoyed shopping and eating out, very nice and caring person she would give you anything so kind with a beautiful smile. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Edward King, her mother Doris Armstead, her son Donnie Baldwin and two sisters Karen Stovall and Sheryl Fennell. She is survived by her father Brady (Maureen) Baldwin, her son Darrell Baldwin, daughter Sheila (Allen) Baldwin, son Jamie (Angela) Young, four sisters Bernadette (Earl) Fleeks of Lubbock, Texas, Marva (Melvin) Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, Belinda Armstead, Phyllis Armstead and two brothers Kenneth Armstead and Brady Baldwin Junior of Lubbock, and daughter in law Bridgette Baldwin. She has six grandchildren Derrick (Lorraine) Boston, Ahmad (Whitnee)Boston, Shakea (Justin) Boston, Donnie (Erika) Baldwin II, Rickey (Ashley) Boston II, and Jeremiah Baldwin. She leaves behind seven great-grandchildren who she adored to the fullest, 15 nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
